2005 Standard w/ Reporting Services Dev Edition?

I would like to upgrade to SQL Server 2005 Standard since I am
currently using SQL Server 2000 Standard. I currently have Reporting
Services 2000 Dev edition. The version is "RS 2000 RTM / C.0.6.43" as
seen in https://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb326207.aspx. I
cannot upgrade RS automatically when installing SQL Server 2005
Standard, because of versioning issues. According to
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143743.aspx, I am unable
to upgrade from RS 2000 Dev to RS 2005 Standard. How can I apply RS
2005 Dev after installing SQL Server 2005 Standard?
Thanks,
BrettIn SQL Server2005, RS is built-in part. You do not upgrade it. You just
choose install or not install it when installing SQL Server2005. You do not
have RS2005 Developer Edition without having SQL Server2005 Developer
Edition. That is, if you have RS2005 Developer Edition, you then must have
SQL Server2005 Developer Edition. So why bother trying to/thinking to mix
SQL Server2005 component in different edition?

Standard, since RS Standard is considered "lower" than Dev. I would
like to avoid downgrading RS to Standard if possible. Do you know if
I can avoid that? I'm sorry; I'm not terribly familiar with RS.

regard of functionalities. I am not sure what difference of RS of two
Editions (i doudt there is big difference, though).

editions (at http://www.microsoft.com/sql/prodinfo/features/compare-features.mspx)
but I would assume that's correct. Is there a way to import reports
from one RS instance to another? I think it would probably be easiest
(since I'm licensed for SQL Server 2005 Standard) to just install RS
from scratch and then import the settings (reports, data sources,
users) later. Is that possible?
