2007 Daylight Savings Change & SQL 2000/2005

Just wondering if the 2007 DST change affect SQL Server?

Hi,
It should not be affected as SQL Server gets time from Windows (assuming
Windows is patched with the appropriate update). Microsoft has a Web site
dedicated to DST change and products affected:

|||I don't know when Microsoft may post a fix. But check out the
NSTimeZoneDstOffsets table used by Notification Services.

Essentially, and just for clarity, this is an update to the data stored by
notification services, not a fix to the product in the traditional sense.

|||Yes, I was thinking it should not be so difficult to write such script but
good to have the official version.
The good part is the fix does not have to be applied for new instances
created in NS SP2.
